MORVoice5 ™
MORVoice5 ™ is a 32-bit DLL that allows Clarion applications to utilize
the Microsoft ® Speech API 5 Text-To-Speech engine. It is designed
to simplify the addition of Text-To-Speech (TTS) functionality to Clarion
applications, while also including a variety of functions to provide greater
control of the TTS engine. A brief description of the available functions
are:

Speak a text string

Speak a text string and wait until the text is spoken

Set the rate at which text is spoken

Get the rate at which text is spoken

Set the speech volume

Get the speech volume

Check if text is being spoken

List the available voice modes

Set the voice mode

A demo is available for MORVoice5 ™. The
demo is a self-extracting archive file that contains three files that may
be installed into any folder (directory). To run the demo you must
either use the Run option of the Start menu or locate the MV5DInst.exe
file using Windows Explorer and double-click the program. No files
are installed with the demo that affects the operating system and thus
these files may be deleted when you have finished the demo.
Note:
An advanced set of TTS functions is available with MORVoice5
™ Advanced.
If you need to install a Text-To-Speech engine on your PC you can download
one from the Microsoft
Speech web site.
