MORVoice5™ Advanced
MORVoice5 ™ Advanced is a 32-bit DLL that allows Clarion applications to
utilize the Microsoft ® Speech API 5 Text-To-Speech engine. It
is designed to simplify the addition of Text-To-Speech (TTS) functionality
to Clarion applications, while also including a variety of functions to
provide greater control of the TTS engine.
In addition to the functions contained in MORVoice5
™, MORVoice5 ™ Advanced include these functions:

Speak the contents of a text file

Speak the contents of the Windows clipboard

Speak text to a WAV file

Speak the contents of a text file to a WAV file

Speak the contents of the Windows clipboard to a WAV file

Skip backward or forward in the text that is being spoken

Set and get the speech priority

Set and get the alert boundary
-
Set the speech to the default audio output device
-
Set the speech to a specific audio output device
-
Get a list of the available audio output devices
A demo is available for MORVoice5 ™ Advanced.
The demo is a self-extracting archive file that contains three files that
may be installed into any folder (directory). To run the demo you
must either use the Run option of the Start menu or locate the MV5AInst.exe
file using Windows Explorer and double-click the program. No files
are installed with the demo that affects the operating system and thus
these files may be deleted when you have finished the demo.
If you need to install a Text-To-Speech engine on your PC you can download
one from the Microsoft
Speech web site.
